Facts about "Die vier Gesellen"

I found this on
Ingrid Bergman Life & Films

In 1938 Ingrid Bergman was obligated, by a contract with the U.F.A. in Germany to complete a series of 3 films. Die Vier Gesellen or The Four Companions is one of the films she completed.
A couple facts about this film:

• Ingrid refused to go to the concentration camps to see the Nazi "progress" in Germany. She was actually quite disinterested in politics, especially at this time and was never quite as "worldly" as most people assumed.
• Her "Aunt Mutti" (Aunt Mommy) was a near and dear aunt while Ingrid was growing up but when the war came about, Aunt Mutti dated an SS officer and Petter Lindstrom did not care for this behavior. He and Ingrid stayed with them but refused to salute with the "Heil" (In some references it is said that Ingrid did salute in the house to keep from an uproar from her aunt, but never in public.).
  
• Ingrid was nervous that one of Hitler's right hand men, Joseph Goebbels would want her company intimately (he had a reputation for liking actresses) and was told NOT to refuse him. He never called for her. She said that she probably "wasn't his type." Lol. She openly refused his company, though it never became a true issue.
• They had to use large objects and taylor Ingrid's costumes during the shoot because she was pregnant with her daughter Pia during this time (She and Petter found out about the pregnancy during the shoot of A Woman's Face in Sweden, the place where Pia was later born).
  
• One of the actresses on the film did go see the camps and said that it haunted her for the rest of her life. She said her husband made her and they later divorced, hinting that it helped cause a schism.
  
• Ingrid never fulfilled her contract with U.F.A. because of the war and dangers it held. She was not associated with the Nazi Party and really held no political preferences. By the time her 3rd film would have come around, she was already busy with David O. Selznik in the US.
  
• It was not uncommon for European actors, directors, creative types to be contracted out to various countries. Alfred Hitchcock was another who was lent to various companies. The issues of loyalties only happened due to the war and its cruelties.

Life of Amie (german post) Kaffefreie Pausen & gestresste Schueler

Schule regt ich zu zeit so auf._.

mein Geo/Bio/Chemie Lehrer langweilt mich zu tode & macht mich hungrig

{fragt nicht, es weis keiner wieso, aber wenn wir ihn sehn, bekommen wir entweder hunger oder wir werden muede }

aufjeden Fall war gestern schon ein dummer Tag, naja, also Ann-Sophie war mit den Russen in der Rittersportfabrik und ich durfte den Tag allein bestreiten. Dann war endlich grosse Pause, ich renn zur Kaffeeteria. GESCHLOSSEN!

*waaaaaaaaah*

und mein alter Klassenlehrer hat auch nichts aufheiternderes zu sagen als:

"Naja, kleinen Kindern soll man eh keinen Kaffee geben"

also, soweit so gut, der Schul-Donnerstag war ncih der hit.

geht trotzdem hin wenn ihr in Amsterdam seit!

We went to a restaurant today, called Pasta e basta.
It's a music restaurant. That means that everyone (every waiter not every guest ;) can sing!
They sing everything:
Classical Things like La Traviata, Musicals, Jazz-Songs and Popmusic.
So if you go to Amsterdam you HAVE TO GO THERE!
It's awesome!

Im weissen Roessl

Schoen wars!

Ich muss schon sagen, ich bin eigentlich jedes Jahr beeindruckt von den guten Saengern/Schauspielern in Oetigheim.
Dieses Jahr war's besonders gut. Jede Person hat perfekt in die Rolle gepasst von der Roesslwirtin bis hin zum dicklichen Franz Joseph (auch wenn der nich wirklich dicklich war, die dickliche Buehnenversion war toll :D)

Naja, was soll ich noch schreiben?! Worum's geht weiss jeder und wer nicht kanns bei Wikipedia nachlesen xD

Besonders gut hat mir Christina Gailfuss als Ottilie gefallen (Bild, im weissen Kostuem mit Hut), sie hat eine wahnsinnig weiche Stimme (beim singen) und hat echt gut in die Rolle gepasst (wie oben schon erwaehnt).

Das einzige woran ich zu meckern hab waren manche Choreografien: denn wenn gesungen wird "mein Liebeslied muss ein Walzer sein" erwarte ich mehr als nur ein paar Damen die die Arme schwingen (nur mal als Beispiel). Zur Rettung der TRanzgruppe moechte ich allerdings noch inzufuegen, dass viele andere Choreografien wirklich gut und schoen synchron waren *daumen hoch*

Also ich kann echt nur empfehlen hin zu gehn.

Saturday: Ballroom Dancing Competition

WOOOAH!
I'm so excited! (No I WON'T dance!)
My dancing teacher and her new dancing partner are doing their first competition together :D
For her it's the first Latin-Competition. For him it's the first dancing competition at all. He started dancing last autumn... But he's really great!
Well, I'll film it :D I hope that I can upload it then but I'm not sure...
